Welcome to the Union Project!

Union is a book and multimedia project to portray the lives and stories of young European Buddhists.

Young Buddhists, who are on the path either through upbringing or by choice, tell their stories in words, pictures, podcasts, and film. Participants come from all parts of continental Europe - Ireland to Azerbaijan - and all traditions - from Theravada to Zen.

It is led by John Manoochehri, British Buddhist and environmental designer, commissioned by Wisdom Publications, and supported by Resource Vision design and consulting group. Union launches end 2007, and is intended to be complete mid 2009.

Union is inspired and supported by Sumi Loundon's collections of life-stories from young American Buddhists, Blue Jean Buddha and The Buddha's Apprentice.

If you are a young European Buddhist, please read the project summary and guidelines for contributors, and if you feel it is relevant for you, you are invited to submit a profile. Union wants to help you share your story with the world, and help others discover what you may have already found.
